• /bin/sh function to calculate CRC32 checksums on FreeBSD
  Commonly used in fansub filenames. Also works on OS X, but OS X has a /usr/bin/crc32 executable (actually a Perl script) that serves the same purpose.
  May work on other BSDs, check man cksum for both the "-o Use historic algorithms" option and that algorithm 3 is listed as "what is commonly called the ‘32bit CRC’ algorithm."
